Meet the Team

Nicole is a counseling intern and a student in the School of Social Work at Portland State University. With over five years of experience in community mental health, Nicole enjoys working with children, families, and individuals across the lifespan and from diverse backgrounds. Her approach to counseling is grounded in trauma-informed, strength-based care, with an emphasis on evidence-based interventions to help clients manage symptoms and work toward their goals. Nicole is passionate about client-centered care and values the importance of family, cultural awareness, and mutual respect in the therapeutic process. She recognizes that the social systems and environments in which we live influence our identities, experiences, and how we view ourselves. Nicole strives to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered in their journey toward growth and healing.
