Mackenzie Young, PCA
Mackenzie is a dedicated mental health therapist with over six years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with Serious and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI). Specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she provides structured, evidence-based interventions to help clients manage symptoms, develop coping strategies, and improve overall well-being.
She earned a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Western Oregon University in 2021, equipping her with a strong clinical foundation in assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic modalities. Her approach integrates CBT techniques to support clients in identifying and modifying maladaptive thought patterns, fostering resilience, and enhancing daily functioning. Mackenzie is passionate about client-centered care; she strives to create a supportive and collaborative therapeutic environment that empowers individuals to achieve their personal and therapeutic goals.
Mackenzie currently takes Pacificsource Oregon Health Plan, Kaiser, Moda, and Providence Health Plan.
